Nursery Inspiration and Birthday Shout-Outs!

I have been dying to show pictures of the nursery progress that we have made but I want to wait until it is completed!  Should be a couple of more weeks.  

 

Here is my disclaimer why our nursery is going to be done like 4 months before our baby girl Reese will be here:

1.  I want to have it done before my showers in October

2.  I am really, really excited!

3.  I like to be prepared!

 

Not that I need a disclaimer - but I just thought I would throw it in :) 

Here are some pictures though for the time being from where we got some of our inspiration from - and I say "we" because yes, Shaun had some great ideas for the room!  I am so proud of him :)  and of course he did ALL of the painting!  He deserves some credit!

 

These pics aren't exactly what we are doing but pretty close!  I am very happy with the way that some of these projects have turned out.

 I am so excited to see how it all looks together.  When winter comes, we will hopefully be all ready and done with the projects and we can just relax and do winter stuff ie: watch movies by the fire, drink hot chocolate, wear slippers, watch snow fall....I am not going to lie - I am ready for Winter!!!

On another note - our house appraisal came through last week.  So - the plan is to close on October 6th!!!!!!!

I hope it happens.  I am still thinking in the back of my head that something could go wrong - but I am trying to stay positive and just keep my fingers crossed that nothing does.  I just want to not worry about it anymore.  It is empty, it is clean and ready for its next owner!  I hope she likes it as much as we did :)

Things are going well here.  My Mom and I are settling into somewhat of a routine and I am learning more everyday!  There is a lot to know! She has been very patient with me!  

Shaun likes his job and seems to have a good hang of everything at Condell - which I am very glad for because he really liked his job in Peoria at OSF - so I didn't want him to move up here and not like his job.
