Labor Day Weekend: Oconomowoc WI

For Labor Day weekend my family and I rented a lake house about 45 minutes west of Milwaukee in Oconomowoc WI.  It was beautiful.  I think we all wish we owned the property so we could go there any time that we wanted! We had such a good time.  We fished, we swam, we canoed, we ate, we napped, we played with the dogs...it was awesome.  Enjoy the pics!

The weekend was so nice and everyone had a good time.  It was the perfect place to reconnect as a family.  It was also so nice that Shaun and I only had to drive back to Gurnee and not Pekin!  I am always used to driving on Sundays - and now we don't have to!

Here is a pic I took when I went canoeing.  I have never seen clearer water in a lake than this one.  It was unreal....so awesome.

It is late and this Mama is tired!  So I will end with a house update.  We heard from our realtor today and the appraisal was today, so if that comes in then we might possibly have a sale here.  I am really praying and keeping my fingers crossed.  This has all just been so drawn out...I just want to get it sold!  

I will let you all know what happens.  We should know within a week.
