Life Lately

I knew it had been awhile since I posted, but 5 months?!  Well - here we are lately...

Reese had her Spring 4K concert last night at school, it was so cute!  I can't believe how big she is getting.  She lost her first tooth at the beginning of this past week! 

We got a bunch of snow this week also - hopefully it will be the last big snowfall for this Winter.  We are ready for Summer!!  Piper did NOT want to come inside!  Here she is in her Elf on the Shelf nightgown and boots after dropping Reese off at school one morning!

...and I cannot put a new post up without talking about my newest niece, Ava Lee!  She was born on December 1st and is the sweetest, most precious thing.  I wish I could see her more often, but I did get to see her a couple weekends ago at a wedding!  She is too cute! 

I'm hoping to be blogging much more this year!  We have a fun Summer planned so far and we can't wait! 

A little update on both of the girls:

Reese: Is loving 4K and her teacher and classmates!  She can count to 50 and is working on different sounds, letters and numbers in school.  She can spell and write her first and last name and we just bought her a Fancy Nancy learn to read phonics book!  She is doing well in swimming lessons and is starting to be able to almost swim a little on her own :)

Piper: Is growing like a weed!  She loves to sing twinkle twinkle little star and will copy anything and everything her big Sister does and says!  She has started to go on the potty and of course, wants to do everything all by herself!  She loves her teachers at daycare and can almost count to 10 (if no one is watching) She knows quite a few colors too!  She loves to take care of her "baby" and rock her and sing to her.  She goes everywhere with Piper and even sleeps with her!
