Piper turned 1 on November 21st! Unfortunately, we had to cancel her birthday party because she was really sick with an ear infection and we didn't want to get everyone sick before the holidays :( BUT!!! We did still make her some birthday cupcakes, we sang Happy Birthday and we had a nice quiet night at home with just the 4 of us. She loved her cupcake.
The last year has flown by...I feel like we were just bringing her home last Christmas!
She is cruising around really well and is content to just crawl around (very fast). She pulls up on everything and can turn around and grab onto something behind her while standing by herself but she has like zero interest in walking! That's quite fine with us!
She loves bananas, sweet potato, hummus, fruit & veggie pouches and her sippy cup!
She finally started sleeping through the night around 11 months and still usually takes 2 naps a day.
She loves watching her Sister entertain her with dances, singing and playing. I can't wait for them to grow up and play more together!
She said "Mama" first!! Woohoo! (Reese said Dada first and took forever to say Mama!) She is very vocal and loves to point at things and give kisses.
She is the sweetest!
