My Pekin shower was a couple of weekends ago and I really want to say thank you to Mickey, Sarah & Shirley for making me feel so special and throwing me such a lovely baby shower! The food, decorations, favors, gifts...everything was so nice! Baby Reese is so set!
Maybe it is because Thanksgiving is right around the corner but I am feeling so lucky and blessed lately. The only item that we really had to buy Reese was a changing table cover...it was $17.00. So - anyone reading this, please know that I am so grateful to have you in my life and to be sharing this awesome time in our lives. The support we have been shown over the last few months has been overwhelming. So, thank you!
We had our first snow today!!! I was so excited! Tracy and I quickly texted back and forth about how much fun we are going to have decorating their house for Christmas :) Everyone on Facebook was so not liking the snow, but I love it and this is my favorite time of the year...by far! And that normal depressing feeling that you have after the tree is taken down, the gifts are opened, the decorations are put away will be replaced with excitement this year for baby Reese!!!!

Oh right...back to the point of my post - I just got excitedly sidetracked by the snow! My shower! Here are a few pics...
This weekend we are headed down to Naperville to see Erika, Anthony and little Miss Bella! Can't wait :) I am going to attempt to make some pumpkin bars to take down there...we'll see what happens!
