Date Nights are Back!!!

Not ony have I been slacking on posting to my blog but we have seriously been slacking in the romance department!  Where does the time go?  The last 2 monts have been a slight blur but I am back in the the blogging business - so hopefully I haven't lost too many readers!!!

Shaun and mine's date night last week did not exactly go as planned!  I had planned to go to Quonset - which has a.m.a.z.i.n.g pizz and then I was going to take hime to Illinois State Beach and we were going to have a romantic date night on a blanket next to the lake.

Well, it actually went something like this:

* Call pizza in at 5:15 for take out - they tell me it will be ready at 6:00

* Get to Quonset at 6:05 and wait until 6:30 to get our pizza

*Drive out to Illinois State Beach to find that it is closed due to storm damage

* Drive to Waukegan Beach and go to get pizza out of car to find out that I had placed it on an angle and that all of the green pepper, sausage and pepperoni had slid over to one side of the pizza

Oh well...things don't always go as planned now do they? :)

It was still a nice time and good to get away and relax for a night.
