(aka = Pookie to me) !!!!

Katie and I have been friends for a really long time.....  since 2nd grade ish.  In fact, I have a picture of us at Burger King from my 7th birthday party!  We were partying it up!!!  Also- Katie is the reason I decided to go to ISU.  Yup, you heard right.  I was going to CLC for my first year of college and I went down to visit Katie at ISU about every other weekend and had such a blast there.  It was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.  I felt like the weekend roommate :)  

So, when it came to deciding where I wanted to go to college, I picked ISU, because they had good parties...WHAT??? I mean....it seemed like the right fit for me.  It's a good thing they had a Public Relations program! hahaha...

Katie and I have been through a lot together.  We each have our differences and we love each other anyway!  

Katie now lives in Middleton WI with her fiance....yes I said FIANCE!!!!!  They just got engaged about a month ago and will be tying the knot next October!!!  I can't wait!

What are you thankful for?  

This could be a huge long list, so here's the short version:  my family, my friends, Jeff, my soon-to-be-in-laws, my condo, good health, and my crappy little car (a.k.a. the little green machine)!

 

 

 

 

What are your goals?  

Oh there are so many, but so little time!  My main objective in life is to remain an honest, well-meaning woman that continues to contribute to the world in some way.  My short term goals are to finish my fellowship with dignity and pride, plan my wedding in a calm manner, and start giving back to my parents more often :)

 

 
 

What is the best advice you can offer people?  

What goes around DOES come around, so don't waste your time plotting revenge or loathing someone.  They will get what they deserve in one form or another in due time.

 

 

What is something that you struggle with?  

I struggle with stress meltdowns frequently these days.  It's hard to be a grown-up!

 

What is your favorite food indulgence?  

Cheeseless pizza!!  

 

 

What makes you laugh?  

It makes my laugh hysterically to do/see impressions of people AND when other people start laughing so hard they cry or snort....gets me going every time!

 

What has been your happiest moment in life?  

Corinne's birth, finishing graduate school, meeting Jeff.

 

 

 

What is your favorite holiday and why?  

Christmas is the very best.  I love the atmosphere everywhere you go, the decorations, family/friends get-togethers, and the fact that I've never had a bad one!

What has been your hardest decision in life?  

The decisions that Jeff and I are making now about where to work/live/move is probably the hardest so far.  We know we have to do it, but we don't really want to be far away from our friends and families while we are transitioning into an exciting time in our lives :)

 

 

 

 

 

What are you usually doing at 3:00 pm?  

Oh geez...probably listening to a patient tell me about their bowel habits.  That happens a lot at my job.

 

 

 What scares you?  

I'm terrified to lose any more family members.  I'm scared that I will be far away from my family when I am about to have my first baby.  I'm scared of spiders and bees, too.

 

 

 What is the quality you like least about yourself?  

My neuroticism.  It can be difficult to control my emotions sometimes...and probably a little difficult for others to handle, too.

 

 

What is your pet peeve?  

Really bad grammar errors.  And liars.  Can't stand either!

 

 

What is something you believe in?  

I believe in angels, and I believe in myself.
