Shirley Ann Woolard

Shirley is my Mother-in-Law and she is one of the strongest people I know.  She has been living with cancer for over 4 years and I have never heard her complain about anything...once.

She takes it day by day and tries to have some fun along the way :)

 It was also Shirley's birthday this past Thursday...on Thanksgiving!  Happy Birthday Shirley!!!

What makes you laugh?

Watching a good comedy and my family & friends

What is something you struggle with?

My cancer

Who is your best friend?

I have 2 - my sister Loretta and my friend Kim Oltman

What has been your happiest moment in life?

Being able to have Shaun in our lives and being a family

What has been your hardest decision in life?

To have a mastectomy

What is the best advice you have to give?

 Always look for the good in people and keep on smiling

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Turning around in a clothing store, staring at myself in a mirror and saying, "excuse me"

What is your happiest childhood memory?

Playing games outside with my friends

What are you thankful for?

Family, friends, having a home and enough money to pay the bills

What are you really good at?

Nothing special, just trying to give everyone encouragement

What is your pet peeve?

Gossip

What is something on your mind lately?

 Being able to have Grandchildren

You are most happy when....

I'm with friends, family and watching TV with my husband

What is one item on your bucket list?

Going on a small trip
