Friday Face

Grandpa Steinke


My Grandpa Steinke is a very soft spoken man.  He does more listening than talking.  He is understanding.  He is handy.  He is smart.  He is not selfish.  He is calm.

I have so many great memories of visiting my Grandma & Grandpa at their house in Wisconsin.  I loved playing with the lincoln logs, the red desk, the organ, the indian banjo thingy, all of their books, the mini pool table in the basement, the rocking horse...so many more :)

When somebody does something stupid!

Greed

Not to buy everything you think you need

When my kids were born

Farm near Tustin WI, Farm in East Bloomfield WI, Norfolk VA, Miami FL, Fremont WI and Neenah WI

Easy going attitude


What surprises you the most about your adult life?
How fortunate I am


What is your happiest childhood memory?
Sharing a home with Grandpa & Grandma


What are you doing most days at 3:00 pm?
Sitting for awhile with a cup of coffee and a book - and Grandma


What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Sold my '29 Whippet (car) ... Crazy and stupid
 



What is your biggest pet peeve?
Granddaughters who send me these questionnaires! Haha!

An old iron my Grandfather carried over from Germany when he was about 10
