Date Night

For date night last week I decided to take Shaun to what I call "look out point" in East Peoria.  It is this area where you can park your car and look out on the town of Peoria.  We picked up some dinner and then drove to "look out point".  I had thrown an old comforter and some of our floor pillows (the best use that they have seen so far) in the back of my Escape to create our own little love nest!!!  I know this is corny but you go great lengths when you plan date nights on a budget!

We ate our food, cuddled a little bit...

...and then went home because IT WAS FREEZING!!!!!  I guess I should have planned this date night during the summer when it was a tad bit warmer!!!

Let me suggest that anyone reading this should plan a date night EVERY week with their significant other.  Even if it is just getting dinner together and watching the sunset - it is well worth it.  Date nights are just special time for the two of you - they don't have to cost a dime!

I propose this - Plan a date night and then comment on what you did so that we may spread the date night love!!!

P.S. Not that I am counting days here...but tomorrow is Friday!!!!!!  and that means one thing...
