You are all probably wondering "memories from our wedding???...Wasn't your wedding like 2 years ago?" Yes, our wedding was almost 2 years ago and I have been wanting to write this post since I started this blog and have never gotten around to it (mainly because I was being lazy and didn't want to get all of the pictures together and organized!) Oh and before I go any further, I will be writing a post about the float trip weekend (although I would rather not remember it)...let's just say that things DID NOT go as planned. But that is another post for another day. So...here we go. These are all of the wonderful memories I have from our wedding day. I wish I could go back and do it all over again...I really do. I loved planning it, I loved making arts and crafts for it, I loved seeing everyone I love in one place at the same time and most of all I loved that I was given the chance to marry my best friend and the love of my life :)
So...here it is...
I remember seeing Shaun for the first time and thinking to myself - man he looks really handsome all dressed up!!!

I remember how pretty all of my friends looked that morning

And how much I LOVED MY FLOWERS.....
and my hair....
I remember Blake being so sick that he couldn't even hold his head up. He was such a good sport and somehow made it through the entire day :)
I remember Curtis holding the umbrella for me whenever I got on or off the trolley. He is such a good bro!
I love Curtis....he is such a goof ball

I love my family so much...we each have our differences but we really are a close knit family that has such a great time spending time with each other. Here are a couple of pics that I love of me and Colin...
I remember having to fix everyone's hair on the trolley because as soon as we got ready and went outside to take pictures outside (because it was 60 degrees in December) it started monsooning (this is a word I made up to describe the weather on our wedding day!) outside.
I remember riding on the trolley and Curtis turning to me and saying, "look at Mom, she is so happy!"
I remember being goofy with my Mom!!
I remember thinking that I have two of the most awesomest (another made up word) best friends in the entire world. Joelle was always there to lend a listening ear while I was busy planning (and moving the date up) she was always there for me and when I wanted to throw away my shawl-like beautiful flower thing, she kept it for me :) And Sarah had the best bridal bag EVER....it had EVERYTHING that I would have ever needed!! I still use the bag all the time! She also came to Peoria for me when I had my 1 wedding planning breakdown. She came up and helped me spray paint pine cones silver and put my center pieces together.
I remember walking down the aisle with both my Mom and my Dad.
I remember the little bells that my Mom made for me. People brought them to the reception for Shaun and I to kiss. They were so cute!
I remember our ceremony being less than formal. In fact, our pastor was so out of it that my bridal party could not stop laughing. Everyone says that it made our ceremony memorable and that it was funny. Well - the entire time (I think 4 minutes tops) I was just mortified thinking...I cannot believe this is happening at MY WEDDING!!!!!!! Oh well, here are some pics -
I like this one..Erika is trying not to look, Jessie is being polite about the whole thing, Katie wants to laugh but is trying to make it look like she is just smiling, Sarah is ready to bust up laughing and Joelle makes the shot with the "this is really bad" expression....
I really like this one
Aren't the lights gorgeous?!?!?!?
I remember how cute Nora and Garrett looked as the flower girl and ring bearer
I remember Doobie rocking it out on the piano
I remember Shaun and mine's first dance. We thought we would be funny and do a semi-choreographed dance to What is Love? hahahahaaa....I was pretty bad, I think it was entertaining though!
I remember dancing to Ballerina Girl with my Dad
I remember how happy I was that everyone danced their a$@#% off all night because all I wanted was for people to have fun at our wedding.
All I Want for Christmas is You!!!!!
I remember my candy table with juicy pear jelly bellies which I LOVED SOOOO MUCH!!!
I remember my Dad's speech - which I helped him edit before he gave it :) He was going to do something about a pastor and rabbi joke.....No DAD!!!!!!!
And the garter toss.....oh the garter toss. Well, we pulled into Weaver Ridge and I found out that I had FORGOT my garter at our house....so what do we do? We go to Target which was down the road and my entire bridal party goes in with me to get a kid's headband to use as the garter (It was dark purple with a bow, no one even knew!!!) What a fun memory :)
Here are some of my ABSOLUTE favorite action shots from the day:
Nora was getting tired :)

Here are some of my funny faces...who knows what I do???
Our good looking wedding party
I want to thank everyone who is reading this for making our wedding one of the best days of my life. On this day I got to marry my best friend and my soul mate. I am so happy and glad that I had all of my best friends and wonderful family there to support us as we started our new life together as a married couple!!!!!
