I am so excited for this weekend!!! The 4th of July is my most favorite holiday!!! We get to spend this 4th on the Illinois River with Doug and Jackie - which will be sooo much fun :) We haven't been on their boat once this entire summer....what a bummer!!! Tonight we are having people over from work (and Andrea & Logan) to grill out, play bags etc...we are making up for a couple Friday's ago. The girls from work were supposed to come over with their families to celebrate Jessica's 30th birthday and plans changed when Shaun's Dad had his TIA. So - we are making it up tonight :) Tomorrow Shaun is going to smoke a brisket and we are having our friends Kim and Chris over for dinner... and Doug and Jackie might stop over too! Sunday is all day boating with Doug and Jackie and then watching fireworks at night on the river :) Yay!!! can't wait! Then on Monday - so happy that we have the day off - Shaun's parents are coming over and we are smoking ribs. In case you couldn't tell from this post - Shaun's new thing is smoking any type of meat! It is soooo good though :) I will try to take good pictures this weekend to post :)
